AMP

TRACLabs is developing an Autonomy Management Platform (AMP) that consists of reusable, ontology-driven decision support and human interface tools that can assist an operator in controlling and directing several unmanned vehicles at the same time.

AMP uses the PRONTOE ontology editor and the PRIDE tool suite to allow subject matter experts (SMEs) to create and update the assets, capabilities, tasks, and environment of the various unmanned vehicles. The decision support and human interface tools use these ontologies, which allows for flexibility and extensibility of the controllers. This Navy project also includes a 3D operator interface. TRACLabs is collaborating with General Dynamics on this project, which is funded out of the Office of Naval Research.
